All travelers from an EU ‘red’ zone, who do not have a vaccination or recovery certificate, must present a negative PCR test prior to departure, carried out within 72 hours of arrival. Belgian residents can take the test on day 1 or 2 after arrival in Belgium and must undergo a quarantine while waiting for the result. If the test is negative, they can end the quarantine.

When arriving from an EU or Schengen associated country with high rates of worrisome variants, regardless of their color classification, people who have not been fully vaccinated for at least two weeks should undergo a PCR test within 72 hours prior to arrival or day 1 after arrival of Belgian residents, as well as day 7.

As of 26 July 2021, persons from all countries are granted entry to Finland, provided that they can present a certificate for having received a full vaccine series of a valid covid-19 vaccine prior to arrival (no less than 14 days from the last dose). The visitor has received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to arrival in Finland. In this case, the person must be tested for COVID-19 within 3–5 days after arrival in Finland. PCR test prior to departure, carried out within 72 hours of arrival.

Residents and/or citizens of EU and Schengen countries are also granted entry to Finland provided that they can present a certificate of having been infected with the covid-19 virus less than six months ago.

International travel to Finland is permitted for ‘essential reasons’ only until 25 July 2021. The entry is not permitted unless fully vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19 within the previous 6 months of travel.
